Revamped Chassis & Flex System

The X8 chassis is designed from premium three-millimeter graphite material, combining lightweight construction with maximum strength. By placing the batteries directly on the chassis, the car achieves the lowest possible center of gravity for unmatched cornering stability. The uniform chassis flex system allows precise tuning by adding or removing O-rings on pre-installed steel bushings, making the car adaptable for different track conditions. With an extended wheelbase and a narrowed rear section for additional flex, drivers benefit from a stable yet responsive platform.

Advanced Suspension & Drivetrain

The front suspension has been re-engineered with split upper and lower arms, along with a dampening link that improves traction on bumpy tracks. A redesigned one-way front axle and wider rear solid axle enhance responsiveness and stability, while the versatile suspension geometry allows for adjustments in caster, camber, toe, and ride height. The drivetrain features a smaller 53-tooth spur gear and lightweight aluminum axles, ensuring smooth power delivery, reduced rotating mass, and improved efficiency. Combined with a high-efficiency belt tensioning system, the X8 delivers reliable and consistent performance.

Steering & Electronics Integration

Electronics placement has been streamlined with a removable plate that not only organizes components but also influences chassis flex. The separately sold steering servo will now be mounted directly to chassis and positioned low for optimal center of gravity (CG), with the cable neatly routed through a milled channel. The simplified steering system is 82% lighter, making handling more predictable while maintaining precise control. Additionally, a HUDY hard-anodized aluminum servo saver ensures protection during crashes without compromising response. Together, these features create a car that is easy to adjust, highly reliable, and engineered for the demands of top-level racing.
