justin coulter Verified Owner Tuesday, May 7 2024 (about a year ago) Treal Hobby FCX24 Aluminum Extended Rear Suspension Link Set (Black) (+12mm) I’m going to give this setup 3 stars because the performance you gain is phenomenal at least on the Unimog it adds much needed length to counteract the heavy front end, I found myself crawling over bigger items than ever and no more rolling over in off camber situations. Typical Treal flawless machining and great finish and it was the biggest performance adder out of all the other pieces Treal offers, but all the good things come to an end there. Like the other comment mentions the driveshaft bolts are garbage and I’m pretty sure it comes from the axle hole not being D shaped which causes some shock to the bolts as the axle hole is circular, when you let off hard or get on the throttle hard it causes the bolt to sheer off inside the bolt hole. Treal sends three extra bolts and I’ve gone through all of them, at this point I’m looking for new driveshafts to replace the Treal shafts. I’m fifty fifty on recommending this mod because of the gains I experienced. The links are assembled with the balls ready to go. Unfortunately the driveshaft does not have the D shape like the output from the axle and uses a tiny screw as the pin that snapped on my first run and the part without the head got stuck in the driveshaft. This has proven impossible to remove so the kit is basically useless without buying a new drive shaft. Really expected more from Treal especial for the price. View all reviews
