The Spaz Stix Multi-Color Change Spray Paint is a great option to give your RC model a multi-tone paint job with one can! This paint looks dark, almost black, but reflects every color of the spectrum, which brings out a new color at every angle, especially in natural sunlight!
Spaz Stix Holographic Color Change paint is a translucent color that, when applied correctly, will produce eye-popping results. Always apply a fine mist of Spaz Stix Surface Pre-Prep (SZX90059) to the surface you are working on before using the Color Change paint. This helps eliminate fingerprints and undesirable swirls in your paint job. Color Change paints spray out very clear, and will require several light coats to achieve best results. At this point, the color will be very faint. After achieving an even finish with the Color Change paint, you MUST apply Spaz Stix High Gloss Black/Backer (SZX00119), which will make your color “pop”.

Richard G Verified Owner Sunday, Jun 1 2025 (4 months ago) Spaz Stix Multi-Color Change Spray Paint (Holographic) (3.5oz) I followed the instructions, however, after layering several light coats, I thought I was done and backed it with the recommended gloss black. Now I have a black buggy body with holographic sparkles that can really only be seen in sunlight. 3/5.
I repaired the front end of my niece’s atv and decided to dress the front up with some holographic flames to obfuscate the repair work. So, I used the same process I did on my buggy body but reversed the order with the paint I had left. Looks “meh” in the garage but as soon as sunlight hits it, epic. Her jaw dropped. Big hug for uncle. 5/5
Maybe I just needed a few more coats on the buggy body. Todd Garner Verified Owner Saturday, Jan 4 2025 (9 months ago) Spaz Stix Multi-Color Change Spray Paint (Holographic) (3.5oz) I used 2 cans on a 1/10 short course body, followed by 2 cans of the black Spaz Stix backer. Some flake shows through faintly in direct sunlight. However there is no holographic effect and the body looks like it was painted black. I wasted 30 dollars and several hours worth of time to essentially double the weight of the body. 0 of 1 customers found this review helpful. Daniel Conley Tuesday, Mar 2 2021 (about 4 years ago) Spaz Stix Multi-Color Change Spray Paint (Holographic) (3.5oz) Bought at my LHS, but felt like putting the word out. This paint sucks. Put this on with a blue backer and it looks fine. One can of metallic blue would save money and look better. I have painted a ton of bodies with Tamiya spray can paint and never had this issue with flaked cracked paint. Sure can is bigger, but not even sure there is really that much more paint in the can compared to Tamiya. Nozzles also load up which makes me think less less content/pressure. Never again Spastix, no thanks. Tamiya painted bodies still rocking steady after many years and piles of race carnage. 1 of 4 customers found this review helpful. Stephen Moore Verified Owner Monday, Nov 23 2015 (about 9 years ago) Spaz Stix Multi-Color Change Spray Paint (Holographic) (3.5oz) first off this crap is clear you have to buy a color to put behind it for it to even work (black) which it says on the back of the can. Great job AMain for letting us know that in the description. Christmas coming up and my wife’s surprise from my 6 year old is now ruined by this crap. 0 of 7 customers found this review helpful.
