Snap cover seems to work well, i may try to add hinges at some point. I purchased it so I could store the battery in my RC4WD K-10 without taking the body off. I thought that this was aluminum but when it arrived it was 3D printed plastic – and it states that very clearly in the description – so clearly my bad. The quality is very good for a 3D print – I just think that it is over priced for plastic. I took off 2 stars because the top does not stay secured on it’s own. It has bounced off on even small bumps and rocks and is definitely coming off anytime the truck goes wheels up (it happens).
