Carl Madsen Verified Owner Sunday, Mar 23 2025 (6 months ago) REDS “Tetra-X” EasyFit Aluminum Off-Road Adjustable 4-Shoe Clutch System Just replaced the engine on my 1/8 Losi 8ight 2.0 with a REDS 521 and decided to grab a new clutch to go with it. Grabbed this along with the Durabell 2 13t bell (Out of stock here, got from somewhere else). Maybe I was having a dumb moment but I wasn’t sure how to adjust the clutch since it says it’s well….adjustable. But didn’t come with instructions on how to adjust. I looked it up online and finally after some digging finally found you just have to simply pull the face plate out and turn it to Low, Medium, or High. Be careful though because when you pull the face plate you might pop out a clutch shoe & spring like I did and just need to put them back in place. I set it for Medium just to get a baseline feel to start with. So far I’m liking it very much. Bottom-end is very responsive and honestly I’ll try the other setting but will likely just end up back in the middle. My track is a mini Supercross layout, steep jumps, whoops, hard natural clay with some loose top soil. Untreated dirt just watering. I need good punch to make the jumps but without breaking traction and it works great as is. I went with the aluminum flywheel for the better punch so any adjustments I make will just be me being curious but as it is this clutch has great punch and is smooth. View all reviews
