General Screw Installation Notes:Use either wax or grease on the threads to help prevent stripping while going into new or hard material. Some screws that are included in this kit remain Philips heads but are still stainless steel. This has been done for strength, as a result of field testing, on small diameter screws (2mm and 2-56″ diameter). This may include some chassis screws and differential screws. Nicholas Parkhurst Verified Owner Sunday, Jun 22 2025 (3 months ago) RC Screwz Tamiya TT01 Type E Stainless Screw Kit This set really is not specific to a TT01. It does not include shoulder screws and many of the screws are the incorrect length which had caused the drivetrain to lockup when a longer screw went into the spur gear. Longer screws can be trimmed down to the correct length but shorter screws can’t be stretched to the correct length. I decided not to use this set and will just add them with the rest of my spare r/c hardware. View all reviews
