This is the MST RMX 2.5 1/10 2WD Brushed RTR Drift Car. Building off of the success of the RMX 2.0 this updated version brings the next level of performance to the RMX name. With countless hours of research and development, MST has fine tuned the RMX platform for the ultimate drift experience. Designed to be easy to drive for beginners but still rewarding for the experienced drifter, MST has included an updated chassis. This improved chassis offers increased traction and control along with a plethora of adjustments to fine tune your driving experience. Whether you are an experienced drifter or just getting started, the RMX 2.5 RTR gives you the performance you are looking for with looks to match! This RMX 2.5 RTR includes the GR86RB pre-painted body.

Marcello Biradelli Verified Owner Wednesday, Jul 2 2025 (3 months ago) MST RMX 2.5 1/10 2WD Brushed RTR Drift Car w/GR86RB Body (Light Blue) I picked this up during the Father’s Day sale for $169.95, and honestly, at that price, it’s a steal. You simply won’t find another drift car with this level of quality for such an affordable price. If they ever run that sale again, I’d highly recommend grabbing one.
The main reason I bought this was actually for the GR86RB body — I’m using it on my other drift chassis, and it looks fantastic. I went with the brushed version intentionally because I plan to upgrade the electronics with Hobbywing components later on. This upgrade should provide a much better feel and more precise control, something I found lacking in the stock setup. Plus, I’ll be pairing it with my Futaba 10PX transmitter, which will allow me to really dial in settings and see the effect of changes, unlike the stock remote where it’s more of a guess.
I’m also excited to use this as an outdoor, durable, and fun alternative to my more delicate carbon drift chassis. It’s a solid, affordable platform for anyone wanting to customize and upgrade their drift car without breaking the bank.
One upgrade I highly recommend for anyone picking this up is adjustable turnbuckles — they add a lot of tunability and really help the chassis perform better on different overall.
