The Kyosho USA-1 GP 1/8 4WD ReadySet Nitro Monster Truck is a modern tribute to the iconic Nitro USA-1.Originally setting the benchmark for monster truck power and performance in 1990, this latest iterationsurpasses its predecessor in every aspect. This impressive ReadySet package requires only the addition ofbatteries, nitro fuel, and a glow plug heater to be ready for action, delivering an upgraded experience withenhanced capabilities.
About the USA-1 GP
Axles & Suspension
The reinforced axle housing excels under high-power and rough road conditions, improving crash resistance. Itoffers the ability to add optional rear-wheel steering, creating a true AWS (All-Wheel Steering) system forenhanced dynamic steering options reminiscent of early monster trucks. The truck’s 5-link suspensionplatform controls the rigid front and rear axles to minimize drive loss, delivering superior traction andhandling over uneven and varying surfaces. Additionally, large-capacity oil shocks reliably absorb impactsfrom the running surface, ensuring a smooth ride.
Drivetrain
The USA-1 GP excels with differentials taken from a World Champion 1/8-scale off-road car, featuring metalring, pinion, and spider gears to manage the power of its 25-class (approx. 4.2cc) engine. Thesedifferentials provide smooth, stable driving by balancing the rotational differences between tires. Thetruck’s 3-speed automatic transmission maximizes engine torque across various speeds, optimizing low-speedtorque with first gear and covering medium speeds with second gear for smooth, efficient acceleration. Thishigh-performance setup ensures exceptional traction and power management.
Engine
The KE25SP2 engine is a powerhouse, designed with an easier-to-adjust low-speed needle that enables it togenerate even more power than its predecessor, the KE25SP engine. This advanced engine features a convenientpull starter, eliminating the need for a starter box. Additionally, the engine settings have beenmeticulously optimized at the factory, ensuring peak performance right out of the box.

Throttle servo stuck open way past my epa setting and went full throttle damaging a few things on the truck. battery was charged up to 100% on both the controller and receiver and this crash could have been a lot worse. If you are going to charge over $500 for an RC then please make this stuff better.

Cheap servos welds inside servo , after 5th tank my truck throttle servo died out and went full throttle damaging my body and driver side tires all because of crap servo soldering internally.
