It is a Dirt Master with extra parts and the different body. The only change that I needed to make was to put a 2 mm spacer under the battery hold down posts. This will allow you to use a standard shorty pack mounted forward. The kit does not accommodate 25 mm thick batteries. It works well however with newer LCG battery packs. I liked the body mounts for the Bug like body as this kit may be used for a late model oval conversion 1 customer found this review helpful. You’ll want to have a set of calipers on hand (or at least a metric ruler) to make it easier to tell the plastic spacers apart from each other because there are a lot of them and the manual doesn’t make it obvious. The new body is great. It’s easy to trim, and the paint masks and stickers all fit perfectly. The finished car is relatively lightweight and handles well. Timmy Klatte Verified Owner Wednesday, Sep 24 2025 (4 days ago) Kyosho Ultima SB Dune Master 1/10 2WD Off-Road Electric Buggy Kit This buggy is basically the same as a Dirtmaster-just a different body and wheels/tires.The build is pretty easy-just sort out all the different size spacers and hardware before you start it. I used a Dynamite 15t brushed motor and a Hobbywing 1060 ESC with a 3000 Mah Nimh battery. If you want to build it in one day, allow 5 to 6 hours.I took several days and the result is quite nice. I used Losi shock oil and it seems to work okay.Soon I want to run it on my Secret Off Road Test Track!!! The only complaint I have with the kit is the use of Allen hex fasteners instead of standard Phillips head screws-they tend to strip out rather easily. So be careful-otherwise, it’s a cool kit!!
