The Kyosho Turbo Scorpion 1/10 2WD Electric Buggy Kit stays true to its original design, featuring larger2.2-inch Scorpion-style wheels for better off-road performance. It includes 12mm oil shocks for excellentstability and damping, paired with high-grip tires and a wider front tread, and longer wheelbase forimproved control. Modernized for today’s power sources, the Turbo Scorpion is fully equipped to handle thedemands of modern racing.
About the Scorpion
Style
The Turbo Scorpion combines vintage design elements with modern performance enhancements. It includes awhite rear wing with a reinforced nylon resin stay and adjustable angle, matching the classic color scheme.The kit features modern 2.2-inch wheels in a 5-spoke style reminiscent of the original Scorpion, and softcompound front tires to reduce understeer with block-pattern rear tires for excellent grip and traction. Thebody design is a recreation of the original, with a roll bar moved back 6mm and compatibility with originallight buckets from the first Scorpion.
Chassis
The Turbo Scorpion is equipped with forged A6061T6 suspension arms for superior strength, rigidity, anddurability, complemented by 12mm oil shocks based on the Optima for high-level performance. The strong andlightweight A6061T6 ladder frame enhances the overall robustness of the vehicle. Additionally, the radiobox, compatible with various battery types, recreates the original’s racy style with its white color.
Drivetrain
The 48-pitch gears, made from an optimal mix of nylon and sintered alloy, ensure low noise and highefficiency. The gear cover encloses a two-piece aluminum die-cast gearbox with a built-in gear differential,featuring a slipper clutch to protect the gears from damage.

- Recreation of the original body design. Roll bar position moved back 6mm and compatible with the original light buckets from the first Scorpion.
- Ladder frame is made from strong and lightweight A6061T6. The radio box is compatible with various battery types and with the same white color as the original recreates that racy style.
- Forged A6061T6 suspension arms deliver superior strength, rigidity, and durability and combine with 12mm oil shocks based on the Optima to realize high-level performance.
- Gear cover enclosing two-piece aluminum diecast gearbox with built-in gear diff features a slipper clutch to protect gears from damage.
- Includes 5-spoke style wheels like the original Scorpion that are normally sold as an optional upgrade for the vintage series.
- Turbo Scorpion updated to meet the demands of the modern off-road racing scene.
- Rear section reinforced with Rear Sus Post L, strengthened by added flange.
- Features accurate recreation of the original loop-mount light buckets. Optional LED lights can be simply bolted on.
