This is the Kyosho MB-010 Mini-Z Turbo Optima 4WD Buggy Readyset. The MINI-Z Inferno MP9 4WD Buggy mimics the original 1/8 Turbo Optima race buggy in a much smaller size great for having fun anywhere and anytime!
About the Mini-Z Turbo Optima
Chassis & Suspension
The advanced compact design includes a 4WD drive train with a slipper clutch to protect the gears, and 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with oil filled shocks to deliver true racing buggy performance. The seven-stage geared steering servo provides plenty of torque for precision steering response and combines with the control program to realize the MINI-Z’s signature linear handling and light feel.
Electronics
Powered by a brushed motor, this micro buggy is designed to deliver smooth power and fun speeds. The main electronics board supplies power to the motor, as well as the servo. Four AAA batteries are all that is required to power the chassis making it easy to get started.
Body
The MB-010VE Mini-Z Buggy Turbo Optima body pays homage to the legendary off-road racing classic with remarkable attention to detail. Styled after the iconic Turbo Optima, this body captures the essence of vintage off-road racing, with realistic features like rugged front and rear bumpers, a roll cage, and large off-road tires that mimic the original’s capability on rough terrain. The robust design enhances durability, allowing the model to handle jumps and rugged courses while maintaining stability. This is an ideal choice for both fans of retro racing and those looking for a versatile, durable mini off-road buggy.

**Note: Optional ICS can NOT be used. Also, this model is specially designed for the KT-531P transmitter. It is not compatible with the KT-18, KT-19, EX-5UR ASF, EX-6 or EX-6R transmitters. It is only compatible with the special (No.MZW431) gyro unit (sold separately).

BH Verified Owner Monday, Jan 8 2024 (about a year ago) Kyosho MB-010VE Mini-Z Buggy Turbo Optima Readyset (White) Overall it’s a great little buggy, plenty fast for indoors even with the brushed motor. Can do drifting on the laminate and high grip on low-mid pile carpet. My one issue is that Kyosho’s mold for the rear wing appears to have one of the holes in the wrong place, leading to a slightly crooked wing. Not really a functional issue at these speeds, just annoying. The same issue is present on the Inferno replacement body I purchased elsewhere. 1 customer found this review helpful.
