This is the Kyosho MB-010 Mini-Z Inferno MP9 4WD Buggy Readyset. The MINI-Z Inferno MP9 4WD Buggy mimics theoriginal 1/8 Inferno MP9 race buggy in a much smaller size great for having fun anywhere and anytime!

About the Mini-Z Inferno MP9

Chassis & Suspension

The advanced compact design includes a 4WD drive train with a slipper clutch to protect the gears, and4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with oil filled shocks to deliver true racing buggyperformance. The seven-stage geared steering servo provides plenty of torque for precision steering responseand combines with the control program to realize the MINI-Z’s signature linear handling and light feel.

Electronics

Powered by a brushed motor, this micro buggy is designed to deliver smooth power and fun speeds. The mainelectronics board supplies power to the motor, as well as the servo. Four AAA batteries are all that isrequired to power the chassis making it easy to get started.

Body

Modeled on the popular Inferno MP9, the MINI-Z buggy body matches performance with style featuring adistinctive updated printed color scheme complimented by black wheels for the sharpest looking buggy on thetrack. The fully pre-assembled Readyset package makes it simple and enjoyable for anyone to experience theadvanced buggy performance, whether it’s your first car or a fun-driving second car.

ESW Verified Owner Sunday, Sep 8 2024 (about a year ago) Kyosho MB-010 Mini-Z Inferno MP9 Electric 4WD Micro Buggy Readyset (Pink/Green) I’ve wanted one of these for quite some time and I’m glad I finally pulled the trigger, because this little buggy did not disappoint. Out of the box it’s pretty fun and it handles incredibly well, adjusting the dual rate makes a big difference. I am currently driving it on a tight course taped out on low pile carpet in my apartment. I have no intention of driving this buggy outside, it can be done but it’s better suited for indoor use.
The stock motor exceeded my expectations and has plenty of power and top end for a small, tight course with no jumps and with training mode enabled the stock motor is perfect for a beginner or someone new to Mini-Z. The one thing the stock motor lacks is bottom end, which makes jumping it near impossible. I made a 4″ tall table top and the buggy has no problem rolling over it, but it does not have enough bottom end to even come close to clearing the table. My first upgrade will be a motor.
I love this color combo and am happy to see Kyosho producing brighter bodies and wheels, just wish the wheels weren’t out of stock everywhere. If you are looking for something small to run in the house then this buggy is a no brainer. Kyosho Mini-Z’s have come a long way and the KT-531P transmitter that is included isn’t that bad. I honestly cannot find a single thing to complain about, it’s a great little buggy. It’s a ton of fun to drive around and it can handle decent gaps on the ground as I have been running it around my driveway and inside the house with no issues. It’s quick but doesn’t feel quite as quick as the mini z rwd cars I have, but I haven’t run them side by side or anything. We are eager to get another so my son and I can do some races with them.
