Alex B. Verified Owner Thursday, May 29 2025 (4 months ago) Hobbywing Xerun V10 G4R Competition Stock Brushless Motor (13.5T) (ROAR) I’m new to the rc racing scene so I’m still in learning as I go. I bought this motor with the thought of using it to learn rc racing not actually understanding that this motor is a lot more then something like the 25.5t motor which honestly is where I should have started.
That said however, this motor is fantastic. It has some serious get up and go and after about 30 minutes, how long my battery lasted me, the motor was still relatively cool to the touch. It was warm but by no means hot. I did 107 laps at my local RC track only using 60% speed as it was a little more then I was capable of handling. It performed like a champ though.
I like that there are tuning options by adjusting the timing on the back of the motor, it seem simple enough to adjust. The solder points are spread apart enough that even a novice at soldering shouldn’t have much issues with it. I also like that the motor is repairable should I ever need to do so.
