As soon as I started up the hakko it was night and day difference. Hakko digitally shot up to 750f (default) setting. I think this iron is more accurate than my tk950. Would buy again. It heats up super fast and stays hot while using. Transfers the heat really well and makes for a super strong connection. This replaced my wella 70watt soldering station. Even though this one is 65 watts it heats up and holds its heat like a much higher wattage unit. This is a must for heavier gauge wire.
