NoName Verified Owner Wednesday, Sep 24 2025 (4 days ago) Furitek EagleTech 160A 1/10 Sensored Brushless ESC w/Cooling Fan (Black) I like the size and layout of this ESC. Not too heavy and includes a nice fan. The app is also fairly easy to use, slightly buggy but it works for the most part. Bluetooth being built-in to the ESC is convenient.
However, I have a few major issues with this ESC that make it borderline unusable, especially for drift.
The most crippling issue is the delay in throttle when quickly applying full throttle from neutral, there is a sort of stutter that occurs before the motor ramps up. I’ve tested countless motors, sensor wires, and settings in the ESC and this stutter is always there.
The other major issue is that when applying short bursts of throttle which is somewhat common in drifting, the motor will occasionally completely lock up and then resume spinning, it is as if you quickly applied full brakes.
Both of these issues seem to stem from the ESC not responding to inputs smoothly, maybe they can be correcte4d by a firmware update in the future. View all reviews
