User Interface & Display

The updated colorful user interface (UI) design allows customizable themes and wallpaper changes, enabling users to create their own unique style and say goodbye to the era of monotonous black-and-white screens. With an IPS high-brightness display that is designed to be used under strong outdoor light, its dazzling brightness cannot be conquered even by the limits of sunlight. This radio features a 320×480 resolution for beautiful and easy-to-read menu displays, all on a 3.5-inch full-dot matrix color touchscreen. The function of customizing channel names has been added, making the display more intuitive and allowing users to easily understand the function of each channel in real-time.

Type-C Port & Wireless Charging Capability

The data interface is optimized by the USB Type-C port, which is more stable in connection and more versatile than its predecessor. Not only does it support coach mode, where duel-ended Type-C data cables enable interactive teaching, but it also supports head-tracking functionality. Users can attach a head-tracking device via the dedicated cable to fully immerse themselves in real-life action while the coach mode helps users pass on skills effortlessly.

Battery & Receiver

The NB4 Pro+ radio system employs a 3450-amp large-capacity battery that easily copes with RC marathons. Equipped with a standard high-quality 18650 battery, the NB4 Pro+ features a “Quick-Release” internal battery design for convenient ease of access. With the included power base, this transmitter can last up to eighteen hours! Additionally, the NB4 Pro+ supports wireless charging through the included charging base, which connects via the Type-C cable. This allows users to charge the transmitter simply by placing it on the base, eliminating the need to plug the transmitter in directly. This transmitter also includes the compact and reliable 2.4GHz Four-Channel FGr4B Receiver and the 2.4GHz Eight-Channel Receiver. These receivers were designed for use with FlySky’s advanced AFHDS3 (Automatic Frequency Hopping Digital System 3) protocol to ensure stable and interference-free communication. They are equipped with a failsafe function that allows users to set predefined positions for the controls in case of signal loss, enhancing safety during operation.

Aside from having more buttons and channels than I know what to do with, the comfort and feel is superb. Battery life is next level, and if you’ve ever used a smart phone, well this is quite similar, so don’t be intimidated at all. Quality of the product is excellent. My only complaint is the faux carbon fiber-like stickers on the sides of the carrying case….at this price point just use real carbon fiber paneling. Other than that, zero complaints thus far 1 week into ownership. I purchased this remote with hopes this will be my first, only and last purchase of an upgraded transmitter, after decades of using those same old weak sauce remotes that always come with my RC purchases.
