Cameron Chase Monday, Sep 16 2024 (about a year ago) Element RC Enduro Comp Fox Competition 1/10 4WD Rock Crawler Kit I’ve been messing with this rig for 6 weeks and I have now replaced everything except the chassis. Two stars for the artful dodgers chassis and the shocks that could have been good if they came with all the correct parts. Put together and sit aside to work on body for it a couple days, when I got body done and ready to mount I noticed every screw on the kit was rusted! Contacted manufacturer to be told wd40 and wipe off the rust! Was comical honestly considering rig is brand new never run and stored in a climate controlled shop! Was a huge element fan…hints was. Being a big element rc fan is only reason I was able to complete kit without having to order parts that was supposed to be in kit that was missing. Artful

Put it to 4 wheel steer some brass in the front drives fine. Manual not that great but unless this is your first build you should know how to figure things out. The kit overall came together nice but i suggest using online manual and included print reading both first as they are not the same and your able to zoom in online to see screw locations better since manual is dark.
Tips!!
.. Get yourself a tap for the skid setscrews instead of just forcing them in with grease.
.. Use an angle link end on outside steering rod to servo. kit shorts you a straight and the angle seems to work better in that spot.
.. No you didnt drop or loose it the kits short a steel pivot ball but only used as a spacer so you can use plastic shims off a parts tree in its spot to get by. 1 customer found this review helpful. Thursday, Mar 6 2025 (7 months ago) Element RC Enduro Comp Fox Competition 1/10 4WD Rock Crawler Kit First off I did not purchase the Enduro Comp Fox from Amain Hobbies, I purchased the kit direct from Team Associated when the kit was first released. I’m leaving this comment because Team Associated does not have a comment section and in hopes to save others the headache and money. I have built over a dozen rock crawlers including five Element Enduro GateKeeper kits.
I wish I had not purchased this kit, by far it is the worse kit I have ever purchased and this kit should have never been released.
Here are some of the issues:
1. Transmission mount (mounting holes are too small)
2. Some screws missing or are the wrong size
3. Shocks did not have the bleeder tops like the directions show
4. Lots of pretty aluminium cross braces but the rock sliders are steel
5. The funky looking upper front links restrict smooth articulation
IMO the new Vanquish VRD Builders Kit is far superior. 2 of 3 customers found this review helpful. Johnny Peel Tuesday, Jun 24 2025 (3 months ago) Element RC Enduro Comp Fox Competition 1/10 4WD Rock Crawler Kit The kit is not as bad as others state, mine didn’t have the bleeder shock caps like the instructions show,other than that the kit took me alittle over 3hrs to build, fit and finish was not a issue, overall I am impressed with the performance of this kit,it holds its own against other kits on the market as far as performance goes. I enjoy driving this kit as much as my other kits.just my opinion View all reviews
