High Performance

The WP173 servo offers exceptional performance with high torque and high-speed operation. At 6 volts, it delivers an operating speed of 0.09 seconds per 60°, while at 8.4 volts, the speed increases to an impressive 0.07 seconds per 60°. This rapid response time ensures precise control, making it ideal for competitive racing or complex maneuvers. With dynamic torque ranging from 123 ounces per inch at 6 volts to 173 ounces per inch at 8.4 volts, this servo is more than capable of handling the toughest tasks.

Gordon Caudill Verified Owner Tuesday, Nov 26 2024 (10 months ago) EcoPower WP173 Aluminum Digital Micro Servo (HV) (Waterproof) I purchased one of these servos for my new Typhon Grom BLX because of my experience with other EcoPower servos.
The difference between the stock Grom servos and the ECP-173 is night and day. It has the speed and ability to return the tires to center where as the stock one you have to over correct to return them to center. Especially if you are running Proline Badlands.

The screw mounting the servo horn to the 25t spline is M2.3 (measured to 2.25mm). Why couldn’t the use a universal size like M2 or M2.5? I’ve used a couple ECO servos on my 1/10 crawlers and absolute love them. This is the first mini I’ve used in my 1/18. It failed! I wasn’t taking out to bash i was testing it after replacing the gears inside ( i stripped it initially).
I usually don’t put servo savers but I’m not even sure that will help. Look some where else!
