The tips is small can do the job yes, but if the tip is 4 to 5mm will help a lot for heating and melting fast. Still the tip that come it have great quality most of the time in the first use you can notice the quality, the tip is still brand new no wear.
I hope ecopower make a wider tips for this solder, the solder is really good. The solder is 5 star, but the tip 4 star. But if you do small soldering is 5 star with no complaints. Because I try to test in XT90 plug I found that issue, XT60 or similar small plugs will be fine View all reviews
