Josh Flanagan Verified Owner Friday, Jul 25 2025 (2 months ago) Cow RC Jet Blaster Turbo Premium Performance Air Blaster I’ve had this for a couple of track days. Our track is dirt and so things get dirty. They have a big air compressor, but there’s always a line of people and it can take a while to get your cars cleaned up. I bought this as an alternative to getting my own compressor, which I just don’t need for anything else.
It’s not bad. It’s pretty good actually. Doesn’t quite have the oomph of a standard air compressor, but I think it’s close enough, and a lot more convenient. Some squirts of simple green and/or WD40 and this tool will get your stuff clean, and hopefully save some bearings and parts in the process. I passed on the less powerful version, because I was sure it wouldn’t be enough, and I still think that’s true.
Upsides: It’s convenient, easy to transport, not as loud or large as a cheap air compressor. The location of the switch is actually pretty well placed to be operated by the thumb.
Downsides: It’s pretty expensive, but again on par with an small compressor. In the end, the convenience made it worth it.
I don’t know if this is good or bad, but it gets hot. The air that comes out is warm. After some extended use, the whole unit heats up. I guess it’s a vaccuum motor in there, and it’s putting out some energy, so that makes sense.
