32-Bit Processor
Using the state-of-the-art 32-bit processor, this ESC is able to allow for smoother power delivery. It also allows for faster data sampling rates to give users more points of data to make precise adjustments.
Cryo-Drive
Castle Creations Cryo-Drive uses advanced technology to ensure less heat buildup while maintaining peak performance. Cryo-Drive optimally controls what components are being used to control the motor. This is happening at thousands of times per second to reduce the rate the ESC can heat up.
Data Logging
The Cobra 10 ESC has many updates done to the data logging capabilities. The data is recorded at 8x the older generation ESCs with double the sample rate. With a built in accelerometer, this ESC allows for accurate acceleration data. A looping feature prevents interruptions in data recording. The data provided by the ESC allows you to make changes to your chassis based on reliable data.

ericjaylar Verified Owner Thursday, Aug 7 2025 (7 weeks ago) Castle Creations Cobra 10 6S 1/10 Scale Brushless Sensored ESC I run this ESC in a 1/8 scale buggy and the Castle Creations 1515 2200kV V2 motor on 4S Lipo, which is a high load for an ESC designed for 1/10 vehicles. I originally received a defective unit, and there were issues with the initial firmware, but the Castle customer service has been absolutely wonderful, as they replaced the defective ESC under warranty and the latest firmware resolved all issues that I was experiencing. If you buy this ESC, make sure it’s updated to the latest firmware (v1.44 or later). Thankfully, the castle link software makes updating the firmware a fairly straightforward task.
With the updated firmware, the ESC works perfectly–smooth throttle and braking, and it doesn’t overheat, even when powering the 1/8 scale setup. I especially like how it’s waterproof (fully potted)…and therefore dustproof, which has been a problem with Hobbywing ESC’s I’ve used in the past. It’s quite an impressive little unit so far, and I’m confident in recommending it; if it can handle 1/8 scale racing, it will have no trouble at all powering anything 1/10 scale. View all reviews
