Shock Body Overview:

This is the TLR 13mm Rear G3 Avant Coated Shock Bodies from Avid RC. The shock bodies, designed for TLR 22 and 22X-4 buggies, are engineered with a low friction Avant Coating, offering racers the plush feel of larger shock bodies while accommodating 3mm shafts. These shock bodies were initially developed in 2011 for the Cougar SV, and now they’ve been updated further for enhanced performance. These updates have helped predictability and control with less volume displacement under compression for incredibly consistent suspension movements. Give your buggy the performance it deserves with these G3 Avant coated shock bodies from Avid RC.

• Avant Coating: Offers strength similar to mil-spec type III hard anodizing but with an even smoother, low-friction surface
• 13mm Shock Body:Specifically designed for TLR 22 and 22X-4 buggies

• Blank Pistons:Includes (2) 2.5mm thick blank 13mm pistons for personalized tuning (Recommend 2×1.7 front and 2×1.8 rear)

The car has a much better landing, better ride, is not as hard on electronics etc. That alone will make these shocks basically pay for themselves. The 22X-4 really should have came with 13mm shocks from factory. They are a complete game changer. They are also lighter than the factory shocks too. View all reviews
