The Yokomo RO2.0 Rookie RTR Buggy arrives fully assembled and pre-painted, with pre-installed and adjusted electronics, making it easy for anyone to start off-road driving right away. Just add your own battery and charger, and you’re ready to hit the dirt. Designed for beginners yet capable enough for racing, it balances affordability with serious performance right out of the box.

Race-Ready Suspension Setup

Built on the proven RO2.0 platform, this 1/10 2WD buggy features oil-filled long-stroke shocks, a front and rear double wishbone suspension, and full ball bearings for smooth, controlled handling on rough terrain. The high-downforce body, rear wing, and ribbed/dimpled tires offer excellent grip, while the slipper clutch and adjustable turnbuckles add tuning flexibility for competitive driving.

Durable and Upgradeable Build

The rugged resin chassis houses a 3-gear transmission with a sealed gearbox, aluminum motor plate, and universal shafts for durability and efficiency. The SCR-BR ESC with a large heat sink handles powerful motors with ease. A dustproof gear cover protects the drivetrain, and the wide array of optional parts means you can easily upgrade for more performance or personalized tuning.
