6S Capability & Battery Tray

The Traxxas Maxx Slash features a versatile battery compartment designed for ultimate compatibility and convenience. The large battery tray accommodates a variety of LiPo battery configurations, including a single 4S 6700mAh, two 2S 7600mAh, or two 3S 5000mAh LiPo batteries for 6S power. All batteries must have a Traxxas iD® connector to ensure seamless compatibility with the system. Positioned deep within the hex-reinforced chassis, the batteries are well-protected against impacts, ensuring durability during intense driving sessions. A heavy-duty snap-lock battery door keeps everything secure while allowing for quick and easy access when needed.

Robert Smith Friday, Oct 4 2024 (12 months ago) Traxxas Maxx® Slash® 6S 1/10 RTR 4×4 Brushless Short Course Truck (Blue) I was hesitant at first to buy this truck due to some mixed reviews. Don’t listen to the haters. This truck has more than surprised me. I think I like it even more than my OG Slash. I put the Traxxas brown line shock springs on the front and added the shock lifter thing that is on the rear which definitely helped. There’s other aftermarket spring options as well. Just wanted to try that first. Pretty happy with it. I also added the swaybar kit. I’ve only been running on 4S. Josh in Seattle Sunday, Sep 29 2024 (12 months ago) Traxxas Maxx® Slash® 6S 1/10 RTR 4×4 Brushless Short Course Truck (Blue) We’ve traded up steadily over the years and finally bought this truck new. This is the first new 1/8 scale we’ve ever owned and could not be happier with the truck. Great speed of course but it’s the way that it handles so well that really stands out. Steering is excellent and the body clip system is great. Would definitely buy this truck new again.
We’ve made a few very limited mods to the battery tray to accommodate 2 x 3s non Traxxas batteries but beyond that it’s performing well right out of the box and hasn’t broken down at all yet.
It definitely needs a cover for the inside as it’s so much power and so low that it gets very dirty in there especially if there’s any grass nearby.
