IMPORTANT LITHIUM POLYMER SAFETY INFORMATION

NOTE:When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in overheated batteries. Discharging capacity can’t exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for the first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell). Do not use a battery that has too low a voltage. Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at temperatures above 35°C or in a closed car. The high-temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging, or racing, do not charge it until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect prior to recharging.

Dan Verified Owner Sunday, Apr 6 2025 (6 months ago) Tekin Power Cell 2S Graphene LiHV Battery 140C (7.6V/9000mAh) First the good. The pack seems well made, and puts out good power. Used this exclusively in my Tekno EB48SL with a Tekin RX8 Gen 2 and same-era Tekin Pro4 HD 4300kv motor. The battery seemed like a great match for this combination, and it provided plenty of power and decent run times.
The bad: the pack did not even last a year. Starting about a month ago it started to swell significantly and get quite hot the touch after use. Its at the point now where I genuinely do not feel safe using it. I have a Hitec RDX1 Pro charger which has an LiHV setting, and always made sure to let the pack cool down between uses and it was always put at “storage” capacity when done for the weekend. I like to take care of my packs, I have some from the mid 2010’s that are still going strong.
Less than one year of relatively infrequent use is not particularly encouraging. My sample set is small (I only bought one) but its disappointing nonetheless. View all reviews
