Robinson Racing 64 Pitch “Aluminum Pro” Pinion Gears are machined from aircraft aluminum, lightened and then they’re coated twice with a super hard anodized finsih. Recommended for onroad, these gears are available in a variety of tooth count options to fine tune torque and top speed. Package includes one pinion gear and one 5-40 set screw.

The robinson pinions unlike most have straight cut teeth all the way across with no chamfered edge (like a spur gear), so the entire tooth length engages with the entire width of the spur teeth. This also makes the Robinson gear width thinner than most, giving you the most clearance.
The one “con” is the set screw is 1/16th and not 1.5mm – you will strip it out quickly using a 1.5mm hex… View all reviews
