Justin P Verified Owner Saturday, Aug 9 2025 (7 weeks ago) Kyosho Inferno NEO 4.0 1/8 RTR Off Road Nitro Buggy (Blue) The Kyosho Neo Inferno 4.0 is an impressive nitro buggy with excellent build quality, a strong and great-sounding engine, and a responsive, well-designed receiver. It’s been a blast to drive so far.
The only downside is the pull start. Mine broke off completely on the 6th run, right after the break-in period. During break-in, the carburetor was set rich, which made starting more difficult and sometimes caused flooding. Following the manual’s advice not to adjust it much, I only made very small tweaks, but this still meant more pulls than normal to get it running. I suspect this extra strain contributed to the failure.
It’s frustrating to replace a part so soon, but aside from that, the Neo Inferno 4.0 has been solid and fun to own. If the pull start were more durable, it would be an easy 5-star car. 2 customers found this review helpful. View all reviews
