Nash Verified Owner Sunday, May 11 2025 (5 months ago) Kyosho Inferno NEO 3.0 1/8 RTR Off Road Nitro Buggy Type-3 (Yellow) My last nitro was a Kyosho MP777 back in 2010-11 and I had zero issues with it, saw this NEO on sale while browsing one day and it shot me back to my MP777 days so when I saw the NEO on sale, I had to get it and once again, it didn’t disappoint, the NEO was easy to break in, easy to start, with the help of Protec’s starter box (Part#: PTK-4500), if I recall anything from 15 years ago it was the pullstarts that were trash and it seems like nothings changed, NEO pullstart started slipping all of a sudden after about the 4th run after my break in procedure, but its now removed and have a starter box so all is good, the NEO runs great and was super easy to tune and I’m having a blast with it, i also replaced the stock 4AA battery pack with a ProTek Receiver Battery (Part#: PTK-5161) and the servos respond 100% better and faster, overall a really great RTR nitro buggybest purchase of 2025 Julio acosta Verified Owner Tuesday, Apr 29 2025 (5 months ago) Kyosho Inferno NEO 3.0 1/8 RTR Off Road Nitro Buggy Type-3 (Yellow) I love it ty so much for my special toy jajaja I’m enjoying so much seems haven’t been in this hobby for a long time but I’m back ty for your support Micheal West Verified Owner Friday, Oct 18 2024 (11 months ago) Kyosho Inferno NEO 3.0 1/8 RTR Off Road Nitro Buggy Type-3 (Yellow) Great nice car easy to trun and work on Worth the money bob Monday, May 27 2024 (about a year ago) Kyosho Inferno NEO 3.0 1/8 RTR Off Road Nitro Buggy Type-3 (Yellow) sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss 0 of 2 customers found this review helpful. Alex Yarur Verified Owner Sunday, Mar 17 2024 (about a year ago) Kyosho Inferno NEO 3.0 1/8 RTR Off Road Nitro Buggy Type-3 (Yellow) Well, to say Im disappointed is to say the least. I’ve been running nitro cars since 2010, and this one left me stumped. We pulled on this thing for 2 nights in a row, couldn’t get it to start. Have had blisters and sores on my hand for 2 weeks. was on the bump box for so long I was concerned we were going to burn ip a bearing. 4 different glow plugs, 2 different brands of brand new fuel, 3 different igniters, I even went and got a new one from the hobby shop to see if that was the issue. Wouldn’t even start on the bump box, their guy got blisters too! Took it to my local hobby shop because they are a kyosho warranty center. They claim it is a faulty fuel tank and that it is not sealing and creating pressure in the fuel tank. They contacted their rep and got a new tank under warranty, we’ll see if that fixes it. I’ve officially owned this buggy for 2.5 weeks or so now, and have seen absolutely 0 signs of life out this motor.
I did not reach out to Amain initially because I am so absolutely confused I didn’t even think about it. I figured it couldn’t be returned or anything because it has already had nitro in the tank/lines, and the bottom if the chassis is scratched from trying to get it to start…
We’ll see where this goes i guess 🙁
I’m giving it 1 star because the driveline and everything seems oretty nice, but exhaust looks like absolute garbage. Looks like someone ran a angle grinder over the top, didn’t deburr it, and then slapped it on the car and said “Good enough!”.
Very disappointed in this purchase, with the money I’ll have in this thing ATTEMPTING to get it to run, I could have bought a Kyosho MP9… this is absolute madness. 0 of 2 customers found this review helpful. View all reviews
