About the MP10e Readyset
Performance Electronics
This ready to run 1/8 scale buggy comes equipped with a 4S ready brushless motor and ESC. The cast aluminum motor mount features a sliding plate to accommodate different pinion or spur gear sizes. The programmable ESC has ten output programs to choose from allowing you to choose the best levels for your driving style. A convenient wire guard keeps the motor wires up and away from any rotating parts.
Suspension Design
The suspension geometry of this buggy is completely adjustable to ensure you can precisely setup this buggy to your track. The large shock bodies are super smooth and use a bladder style for excellent dampening. The shock springs are the same that were developed for the Kyosho 2022 GB Buggy. Sway bars are used front and rear to further improve chassis stability.
Chassis Layout
Kyosho took great care in the layout of the chassis. Dual battery holders allow for better weight distribution to help keep the car balanced. This means two 2S stick-pack batteries can be used in series keeping the weight low within the chassis. The rigid wing mount ensures that the wing stays stable through your main events.

matthew branton Verified Owner Sunday, Jun 2 2024 (about a year ago) Kyosho Inferno MP10e Readyset 1/8 4WD Brushless Electric Buggy (Green) Brief personal history, been in rc about 40 years. Raced off an on from early 90’s through 2010. Mainly just bashing now. Bought this cause I wanted to start racing again and price wise maid sense for my budget and i wasn’t super knowledgeable about 1/8 electric requirements I’m more 1/10 electric but have experience with 1/8 nitro. I talked to Kyosho before purchasing so I knew what to expect in regards to the difference between the kit version and this rtr. The rtr uses different materials made at a different place on parts like the diff joints, cups, universals, ect. However the replacement part numbers for the part in the rtr pull up the part that you would get in the kit so when parts wear and need replacement you end up with a better part then you started out with. Rtr build quality was very good, no loose screws, thread lock used where it was supposed to, shocks and diffs properly filled ect.
Durability of the buggy is ok box stock but gets better when parts like universals and diff cups get replaced. Anything will break on a 30mph bad landing on one wheel. Tekno or arrma type durability no but still competent enough to make it through a race day without any issues if you treat it with respect.
Have taken it to the track and performs very well. Great weight balance and good handling. Easy to maneuver mid air.
Things I changed were front and rear shock pistons to the ones in the tki3 where the holes are at an angle and that helped a lot with rougher tracks/ jumps and you WILL have to swap out the deans plugs. I love deans connectors but they are not up to the amp load of the motor/esc. You will need ec5 or ic5 or equivalent connectors to handle the amp draw.
Yes I recommend this buggy. Great rtr with a few minor issues mentioned.
Kit version is better more money.

I was a little frustrated though when the car arrived and the front shock bolt was sheared off. I replaced it but 5 minutes into driving another bolt sheared. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch or what but I wouldn’t expect something new to be damaged. Other than that it has been great 2 customers found this review helpful.
