Jonathan Smith Verified Owner Thursday, May 1 2025 (5 months ago) HPI Venture18 HD Machined Helical Differential Gears Set (28/11T) I bought these just to increase the overall strength of my truck. They do not come with any information so I suspected it was a straight swap in the truck’s axle.
These require shimming to set the gear mesh!! It comes with 2 carrier shims, use them on the crown side of the carrier to move the ring gear to the pinion.
I gave it 4 stars because it does not come with any information about this. A newer person not fully understanding may not realize this needs to be done. 2 customers found this review helpful. View all reviews
