David Taylor Verified Owner Monday, Apr 15 2024 (about a year ago) Element RC Enduro IFS2 Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit Super easy installation!
Put this on my Ecto/Gatekeeper in 45 minutes. The rotation is backwards for my element but I simply turned the rear differential inside the housing and we back in businesses.
Looks great, drives great, and more ground clearance. 1 customer found this review helpful. It does have plastic links but the stock metal can be swapped over. It eliminates steering slop an way more durable then if1 1 customer found this review helpful. douglas mcnulty Verified Owner Thursday, Sep 18 2025 (1 week ago) Element RC Enduro IFS2 Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit It’s a cool kit I’ve followed Camburg racing on real trucks for a lot of years so I had to have this! Like others said the shocks sucks so I used the ones off the Trailwalker I did the conversion on. One problem I ran into is the spring rates are way to soft on a trailwalker and even the element yellow stiffest are not quite strong enough to set a decent ride height without maxing preload so I went to a softer rear for more sag so far it’s awesome ! Was skeptical of an Ifs crawler but it works well . Note they make a black spring that’s twice as stiff and came in the v1 maybe that’s the fix for ride height but feel that rate will be to much since it’s double of the yellow rate Sanghyun Cho Verified Owner Wednesday, May 8 2024 (about a year ago) Element RC Enduro IFS2 Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit Took 3weeks to recieve ,but packaging and quality of the product was satisfying Mark Ptaszek Verified Owner Sunday, Feb 18 2024 (about a year ago) Element RC Enduro IFS2 Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit Pretty expensive option for plastic body shocks and steering links, not a fan of the steering rack either. It does make huge improvement in clearance and bump steer. I swapped out the plastic body shocks with the model’s original aluminum ones. You have to use the original shock shaft and piston assembly but everything else from the plastic body shock. I’ll probably swap out the plastic links also. András Szeverényi Verified Owner Tuesday, Jan 23 2024 (about a year ago) Element RC Enduro IFS2 Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit Easy install, but manual lacks info on flipping rear diff ring gear in Knightrunner, otherwise axles rotate the opposite direction. Kurt Moretti Verified Owner Thursday, Mar 7 2024 (about a year ago) Element RC Enduro IFS2 Independent Front Suspension Conversion Kit I give 3 stars because diff gear is backwards and requires extra work that is unnecessary. I emailed team associated/element rc and told them the issue. Otherwise good product easy to install I did switch out the plastic shocks for the metal v2 kit shocks and also adjustable..seems to have a bit less friction which will help the a arms move free. The ground clearance is way better and i also added 4.19 km3’s and 1.9 treal beadlocks which also helped..kinda funny how they put the brake stickers on the inside of the brake disks. Maybe they thought you can see them better inside lol. 0 of 1 customers found this review helpful. View all reviews
