Note:When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in overheated batteries. Discharging capacity can’t exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for the first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell). Do not use a battery that has too low a voltage. Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at temperatures above 35°C or in a closed car. The high-temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging, or racing, do not charge it until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect prior to recharging.

The top electronics plate does have to be unscrewed (2 screws) and hinged back because this battery is about 5mm or 6mm longer than the OEM Spektrum battery. 2 customers found this review helpful. I bought it as a secondary so I can always have one good to go. The fit is tight though. Jason Montanaro Verified Owner Sunday, Sep 21 2025 (1 week ago) EcoPower “Electron” 2S 30C LiPo Battery w/PH2.0 Connector Had to buy a replacement after the stock spectrum battery from my Micro-B ballooned out and died .Couldn’t have been charged more than 10 cycles. I think the issue is with the usb charger and I won’t be using it anymore. Unfortunately the adapter I need so I can use a quality charger is on back order right now. Otherwise, fits fine. Just two screws and you’re done. I also like the Batt to ESC wire connector better than the Specktrun one. It’s easier to remove. The Spektrum one always gave a fight. One small issue I did find is that the charging wires are a little shorter and don’t clip onto the retainer but it doesn’t affect the body’s fit on the car at all so no biggie. Until I get my hands on a reliable charge lead I can’t comment on the performance but I trust what the other commenters have said.
