    About the DHC-6 Twin Otter

    Airframe

    The DHC-6 Twin Otter was developed by de Havilland Canada in 1965. The E-flite Twin Otter 1.4m is a scalereplica that makes the perfect first twin-powered model for intermediate to experienced RC pilots. It’sversatile, easy to fly, and is equipped with functional features including LED navigation and landinglights, and flaps. No glue or specials tools are required for final assembly so you can have the Twin Otter1.4m ready to fly inless time than it takes to charge a battery! And although it’s conveniently sized to fit fully assembled inalmost any vehicle, you can remove the two-piece wing with hands-free connections for easier storage andtransport.

    The factory-installed twin brushless power system features a 25-amp Spektrum Avian Dual Smart Lite ESC plusspecially-tuned motors that deliver an abundance of thrust with a single 3S 2200–3200mAh LiPo battery. Oryou can install a 4S battery for even more power and unlimited vertical capability without needing anymodifications or upgrades!

    The Twin Otter 1.4m is equipped with an exclusive Spektrum Avian Dual Smart Lite ESC that can provide avariety of real-time power system related telemetry data including motor RPM, battery voltage and more –with Smart and non-Smart batteries – via compatible receivers (including the AR631+) and Spektrum AirWareequipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6 to 20, iX12 to 20 andothers).
