About the Granite Grom
Clip-Free Body
This monster truck body uses a clip-free snap-on system that makes installation quick, easy, and secure—no small parts to fumble with, making it ideal for users of all ages. It detaches just as easily with a press-and-release mechanism for hassle-free access to the chassis. Each body comes factory-painted in one of three eye-catching, durable color schemes, paired with dBoots® FORTRESS™ wheels and tires for rugged looks and confident all-terrain traction.
Electronics
The ARRMA GRANITE GROM comes equipped with a Spektrum Smart 2S LiPo battery and IC2 connectors, delivering dependable power and long run times. Recharging is quick and safe with the included Spektrum Smart G2 S10 USB-C Charger—just plug it in and charging starts automatically. The compact Spektrum SLT2 2-channel transmitter is ideal for drivers of all ages, featuring built-in speed limiting options (50% or 75%) to help new users build confidence.

I have 6 of these and they don’t sound like this one. Wish it had a little more speed and didn’t get so hot. The body can be troublesome to get off and on and splits easily and in the first day a shock broke even though I didn’t land hard. It is better than most other mini rcs though. The price should be closer to the $100 mark. Charger did not function correctly but customer service here is great and I got sent an s100 charger and adapter free of charge. UPDATE: Have had no other issues since and the truck is solid. As mentioned before it gets really hot but there’s an extra plug in the esc to run a fan that can be screwed into the heatsink. Only gripe after having it for a while is the skid plates don’t have much meat to protect the screws so they can get worn down from concrete landings but they really arent designed for that. Overall solid and a ton of fun but just a little expensive. Warning! if you are going make this brushless you will need steel axles, and the full steel diff. No exceptions. The plastic parts will not hold up at all.
