About the Big Rock V4

Clipless Body

Gone are the days of body clips sticking out and taking away from the scale detail that RC monster trucks can have. Arrma equipped this vehicle with a hidden, clipless body system. Simply press the tabs at the front and rear of the truck and lift up. Large side guards are close-fitting to the body to help ensure dirt and rocks keep out of the chassis.

Chassis & Suspension

The front and rear independent suspension combined with oil-filled, coil-over shocks soak up rough terrain. Adjustable turnbuckles allow you to fine-tune the suspension for your driving style. For the drivetrain, the Big Rock is equipped with metal gear differentials, front, center, and rear, and durable splined driveshafts. The bearing-supported center driveshaft ensures smooth power transfer from the motor to the front and rear differentials.

Electronics.

This truck has been given Dynamic Stability Control to ensure that first-time RC enthusiasts and seasoned pros can enjoy the extreme power this truck offers. The brutal 3100Kv brushless motor is powered by an 80A ESC and both are 2S and 3S capable. A metal gear and waterproof servo allow for smooth and powerful steering. The included Spektrum 2.4GHz transmitter allows for endpoint and trim adjustments on the fly.

Keven Poor Verified Owner Saturday, Mar 8 2025 (7 months ago) Arrma Big Rock 4X4 V4 223S DSC 1/10 RTR Brushless 4WD Monster Truck (Green) The ESC in the 223S Arrma vehicles sucks. They are not programmable. The low voltage cut off is either set to high or the esc is garbage. You will only get half the run time out of this truck compared to what you would get with literally any other 3s capable esc. Some people say that they get extended run time with high end batteries. (Not verified) I’ve been in the hobby for over a decade. I own multiple Arrma rigs and love them. The truck itself is superb. If you have to immediately replace the esc or spend over $100 for a single new battery on the off chance it might work better you should just buy a different vehicle. 6 of 8 customers found this review helpful.
