Matthew Lardinois Verified Owner Friday, May 2 2025 (5 months ago) 1UP Racing “Lockdown” Adjustable Bullet Plug Grips w/5mm Bullets (Red/Black) Ok, I love the concept so I ordered two sets. Following proper installation but found a few issues. Because the sleeves move free around the bullet plug, I had connection issues on the track. Randomly after a jump I could get power loss (on both vehicles). The other issue came with tolerance. One set of plugs were 4.95mm which worked great. The other was 5.04-5.08mm which I am not able to insert into a 5mm plug more than about 1/3 of the way without modifying the plug. 1UP is currently looking into this matter but before installing, it would not be a bad idea to use a caliper to measure these. Update: 1UP did agree to send me a new set of posts since it appears the one set I had were not to their standard. Great customer support 1 customer found this review helpful. So far, as one reviewer previously mentioned, they are a poor fit and that’s because they are larger than 5 mm. Using calipers, they come out to be about ~ 5.06 mm. They look great, and soldering onto them wasn’t a big issue, but unfortunately…a poor fit into the battery bullet hole.
