CW Verified Owner Thursday, Mar 27 2025 (6 months ago) Axial SCX24 Base Camp 1/24 4WD RTR Scale Mini Crawler (Pink) I have used it indoors only about 5 minutes on a bed, the front tires bind up on the body when turning causing the motor to bog down and the truck wont move. When you turn the wheel and try to backup more binding. I ordered the pink truck and it looks amazing. Before you buy you should know that it’s almost ready to run, body trimming is required for ok performance and you can’t even set your controller down without it falling over. With this in mind you might be happy with the purchase.
Update: I think this truck will need at minimum oil shocks and body trimming to be functional.Upgrades should NOT be required to function as Axial claims it does. If you don’t backup it crawls/bounces ok. I will update this review again after changing shocks.
